Klondike Welding Ltd. is a full-service structural steel contractor based in Whitehorse, Yukon. We specialize in the engineering, fabrication, and erection of structural steel for commercial, industrial, and public sector buildings across Northern Canada. With over 40 years of experience and a reputation for reliability, we deliver practical, cost-effective solutions—whether we’re leading the structural package or supporting a larger team.

Our 13,000 sq ft fabrication facility has the capacity to fabricate and install up to 1,000 tonnes of structural steel per year. It is equipped with advanced machinery and staffed by certified Red Seal welders, supported by an in-house CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector and a team of professional engineers. We manage every stage of the project lifecycle, from connection design and shop fabrication to on-site erection using our own cranes and aerial equipment.

In addition to structural steel buildings, we also act as general contractor on select bridge rehabilitation projects, coordinating all trades and managing site safety, scheduling, and execution from start to finish.

We are certified to CSA W47.1 Division 1 and COR safety standards, and are members in good standing with APEGA, APEY, and the Yukon Contractors Association. Klondike Welding also has the ability to secure bonding for projects up to 10 million dollars through Wilson M. Beck Insurance.
